You’re invited to attend the Serious Games for Health Conference cocktail reception.  This reception, hosted by BreakAway, Ltd., will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 22 in the Westminster Church across the street from the University of Maryland Medical Center.  BreakAway will be providing transportation to and from the reception via the Baltimore Trolley.

1. Pulse!! Overview

Speaker: Douglas Whatley (CEO and Founder, BreakAway Games), Claudia Johnston (Associate Vice President for Special Projects at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi)

Time/Date: Thursday, September 22 at 10:45 a.m.
Presentation Description:

This presentation will focus on Pulse!!, a collaborative arrangement between BreakAway and Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi to create the first immersive virtual learning space designed to train health care professionals.

 

2. Case Study: FreeDive
Time/Date: Thursday, September 22 at 4:00-5:00 p.m.

Presentation Description: Case Study will focus on FreeDive, the first pain management application in the United States designed specifically to help critically ill children cope with the discomfort of medical procedures.
