Community Hub

The heart of the games for health community are the many researchers, game developers, and implementers who are figuring out how to use games to improve health & healthcare around the world.

Our community hub is a series of pages that link together many levels of social media and content from around the Web into a central resource that helps you fully explore both the work and the people that make up the games for health community.

At the same time, we encourage you to also visit and interact with us and other members of the community directly on the myriad of social media, blogs, and content sites across the Internet where we are active.

This page provides information as to each area of our community hub and the role it serves for The Games for Health Project.

Listserv Community
The Games for Health Listserv is an email-based discussion community. To join click through to our sign-up page where you can also peruse and search our list archive.

Games for Health Wiki
Our wiki system is a place where you can find a growing amount of compiled reference information and resources created by the games for health community for your needs.

Twitter Streams
On this page we’ve compiled several useful Twitter streams including the official @gamesforhealth Twitter account. We encourage you to follow us on Twitter as well.

SlideShare
SlideShare is where we encourage all presenters at Games for Health Project produced events to post their slidedecks. We also are happy to link to relevant SlideShare presentations provided elsewhere that would be important for people to see.

YouTube Channel
Our YouTube Channel is a combination of uploaded videos produced by us, often featuring conference content, and videos we like from other sources.

Vimeo
We are posting most of our videos first on YouTube, but Vimeo is another excellent online video site that features some content not found on YouTube. Visit our Vimeo channel and page to see more.

Flickr Stream
The Games for Health Project’s Flickr stream contains photos we’ve taken at our conference and elsewhere. We are trying to do three things with this feed:

1. Make available photos and screenshots from games you can use on your own sites, and in your own presentations. Please view our © language on each photo for rights allowances.

2. Provide photos and screenshots we’ve collected from our events and elsewhere for your informational use.

3. Provide links to photos from other community members for your informational use.

Delicious
Delicious is the leading social bookmarking site on the Internet. We are using our Games for Health Delicious Account to help build a large array of annotated links useful for the Games for Health Community. Please consider joining us on Delicious to help share links and descriptions.

GFH on Facebook
Games for Health now maintains a page on Facebook. We will be using it to provide parallel messages and content to the larger Facebook community about our project.
