Judging Criteria
Our panels of assigned judges will score each round of the competition using the following supplied criteria. All decisions by the judges are final.
Student-to-Student Storyboard & Treatment Competition
1a. On a scale of 1-100, how well does the entry describe the problem and define it in terms that support a possible solution addressable with a game? (10% of score)
1b. On a scale of 1-100 how well does the entry conform to the need to address a student-age population relevant to the problem outlined? (10% of score)
2. On a scale of 1-100, how well does the game described in the treatment address the problem as defined by the treatment? (30% of score)
3. On a scale of 1-100 how well does the document address the feasibility questions that this game can be built effectively, distributed effectively, and have a possible impact on the problem as defined? (15% of score)
4. On a sclae of 1-100 please rate the production quality of the document, and the job it does effectively presenting itself for consideration? (20% of score)
5. Please rate on a scale of 1-100 an overall score for originality for this idea which includes not only the problem, but the game solution combined. (15% of score)
Organization Competition
1a. On a scale of 1-100, how well does the entry describe the problem and define it in terms that support a possible solution addressable with a game? (10% of score)
1b. On a scale of 1-100 how well does the entry uniquely represent and/or serve the organization it was created to assist? (10% of score)
2. On a scale of 1-100, how well does the game described in the treatment address the problem as defined by the treatment? (30% of score)
3. On a scale of 1-100 how well does the document address the feasibility questions that this game can be built effectively, distributed effectively, and have a possible impact on the problem as defined? (15% of score)
4. On a sclae of 1-100 please rate the production quality of the document, and the job it does effectively presenting itself for consideration? (20% of score)

Open Prototype Competition
1. On a scale of 1-100, how well does the entry describe the problem and define it in terms that support a possible solution addressable with a game? (15% of score)
2. On a scale of 1-100, how well does the game as played address the problem as defined by the treatment? (45% of score)
3. On a scale of 1-100 how good is the production quality of the prototype, please provide a combined score for artwork, programming, and interface design. Do not rate these relevant to the problem but just the general quality of the production itself. (20% of score)
4. Please rate on a scale of 1-100 an overall score for originality for this idea which includes not only the problem, but the game solution combined. (20% of score)
