See No Evil, Hear an Alien Invasion

I stumbled across a new type of game I had never seen before. Err...I mean never heard of before. Inverted Castle has a story about games for Blind players. Specifically they have a link to a newly made freeware game called Sonic Invaders. You can download this game and give it a shot, but I am warning you it is quiet challenging. You have to listen to where the enemies are and fire one of seven different cannons or turn on your shield. The beginning provides a warning to wear earphones and I didn't have any available, but if I did I should have been able to detect the enemy locations better. I thought this was a unique new idea but it turns out I was wrong. AudioGames.net has a huge multi page list of games that depend on audio as a primary play mechanic.
